In the summer of 2020, I started my own writing company, Creative Content by Pia. I finally had my dream job as an independent freelance writer and editor.
The majority of my career was spent in newspaper newsrooms covering local and national news. I’ve been an editor, a blogger, a columnist, and a news reporter. I love interviewing people.
My first freelance focus was on cybersecurity writing, but that’s been taken over by AI.
I finally said yes to some of all the people who’ve asked me to do grant application writing and I can’t wait to talk to you about all the opportunities that are out there. It’s time to get some dollars back to The Pacific Northwest and I am here to help you make it happen.
Grants are available for non-profit 501C3 organizations and for for profit organizations, though founding is by far the easiest to find for non-profits.
Let me take my 20-year journalism career and put it to work on your grant applications. I’m a great storyteller, strong researcher, and a quick and accurate writer – together we can make some good things happen for your organization.
